IRONIC, THAT IN AN ARTICLE, DURING ELECTIONS THIS LAST TIME, MAYOR PERRIN REFERENCED THE YEARS YEAR 2003, RESEARCH ON MASTER PLAN TO CORRECT FLOODING ISSUES. AND TEN YEARS LATER, HERE WERE ARE. THIS RHETORIC IS NOTHING but just that. BS! We just so happened to be at that meeting, reported the flooding we were experiencing as a "HOT POCKET" and assured this would be fixed. Turns out, the "HOT POCKET" which has never been addressed, fixed, is an example of ramped issues in this city. Considering this situation, year after year, the water causes soil erosion from under house ultimately causing foundation to crack, which leads to roof issues, water leaking in from roof, mold issues, part of our house flooded numerous times. Last year the entire house floods.

THIS HAPPENED BECAUSE THE STORMWATER, RUN OFF WATER, ROUTED UNDER GROUND FROM ANOTHER NEIGHBORHOOD, EMERGES FROM UNDERGROUND AT ONE END OF OUR PROPERTY AND IS SUPPOSED TO GO BACK UNDER AT OTHER END OF PROPERTY HEADING TOWARDS HIGHLAND, IS TO PARTIALLY GO UNDER GROUND VIA THE CULVERT AND RUN ABOVE. THE CULVBERT, ALSO PUT THERE BY THE CITY, WHICH IS FAULTY NEEDING TO BE REPAIRED. DIRECT FROM CITY ENGINEER CRAIG LIGHT, BETTER FOR SEVERAL OUSES TO FLOOD THAN A BUNCH OF RENTAL HOUSES ACROSS FROM HOGHLAND. FURTHER, THAT THE CITY ISN'T GOING TO PAY THE COST TO REPAIR ACTUAL IUSSUE AT HAND. THE ISSUE BEING, THE CULKVERT BACKING UP, FLOOODING OUR PROPERTY, OUR HOME, BLOWING US OFF. WHEN IN FACT THIS IS ALL DUE TO NEGLIGENCE, DIRECT AND CONSCIOUS AND DELIBERATE DISREGARD OF IMPOSED MITIGATION POLICY AGREED TO BY THE CITY. THE CITY ON MANY OF DOCUMENTS AGREES THAT IT IS IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE FEDERAL GVT REGULATIONS WITH THIS IN MIND, CITY WIDE, KNOWING BETTER. THIS IS FALSIFYING GRANT DOCUMNENTATION TO SECURE FUNDING. THE ENTIRE TIME WHILE IN OFFICE, HAS ANY MNONEY EARMARKED FOR REPAIR BEEN UTILIZED FOR THIS PURPOSE? ESPECIALLY WHEN HARM CAN POTENTIUALLY COME TO PROPERTY OR PEOPLE? IN OUR CASE YES. CHECK THE FACTS. NOT ONLY OUR HOME, BUT OTHERTS. VIOLATION OF OUR RIGHTS ACCORDING TO THE CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.
